Olives

Olive Eggers are a cross breed with a blue egg gene and a brown egg gene.  There are endless combinations on colors, breed crosses, and colors of green/olive/brown eggs from these birds.  Each cross and each generation can bring different genetics into the plumage and egg color.  Because genetics are so complicated, there is a chance that an “olive” egger can lay a brown egg.  They may also lay any shade of green, sage, olive, spotted, speckled, and more.  The surprise and variety is always so fun!  Currently producing second and third generation (F2 and F3) Olive Eggers.
