Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
also referred to as BLRW

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are desired for their stunning plumage.  I call them the unicorns of the chicken world because quality coloring in this breed can be hard to find.  Although they are called “Blue Laced Red” this breed actually hatches out blue, black and splash laced birds.  They are all equally beautiful with rich color and intricate lacing.  They are a large bodied, docile breed and will lay about 5 eggs per week.  The eggs are typically cream to tan, but with a heavy bloom, can appear pink or lavender.  They are not an overly broody breed, but are good mothers when they brood.
