Black Copper Marans

Black Copper Marans are highly sought after for their dark chocolate colored eggs.  They are not prolific layers, but the eggs you do get are GORGEOUS!  Marans are large bodied, cold hardy, and calm.  They are not an overly broody breed, but are good mothers when they brood.
